Just a quick post to let Batman Lego Fans know that in the next wave of Batman Play Sets they're gonna make a special Harley Quinn figure & vehicle play set. Isn't she cute?! I like her HUGE mallet & she comes with a gun too. She will get a Bank Truck Van & Batman will have a Bat-Cycle...cool! Plus, the reports I've been reading is that Lego is gonna keep the characters & playsets all "Comic Book Batman" related & will not be doing any that tie into the Dark Knight movie. That's cool. I like the "regular Batman" the best anyway & don't worry, there will be tons of TDK merchandise to buy, believe me, ha ha! Amazon.com Widgets

I hope my friend "Shadowbat" doesn't mind but I totally stole these 2 photos from him off a Message Board, ha ha! Sorry Dude, I was just so excited! Here's a set of photos of the new General Mills CHEERIOS Cereal Box with THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie tie-in!! Looks like they're giving away 4 FREE "Stunt Figure" cereal premiums. There are 2 Batman figures & 2 of The Joker. Now, the good news is that I totally love Cheerios cereal so it won't go to waste, ha ha! Be sure to click on the photo up above for a larger version. Also, if you, the Bat-Blog Reader, finds out about any more promotions like this please shoot me an e-mail!

A new trading card company called PLAYGROUND MANIACS has come out with a really neat concept. They sell these packs of THE DARK KNIGHT Collectible Stickers & you get a free Mini-Figure in each pack! Each package contains 8 stickers & 1 figure. There are 180 stickers total to collect & 6 mini-figures. They also make a "Collectible Sticker Album" for you to put the stickers in. The figures include: 1 Joker, 1 Tumbler Batmobile, 1 Bat-Pod Motorcycle, & 3 Different Variations of Batman. The only place I have seen these so far are Target Stores. I bought one pack & got a "Batman Standing" figure...pretty neat! I plan on getting all 6 figures. The Batman I got is almost 3" tall. Be sure to click on the above image for a larger photo, the figures are kinda neat!

Just a friendly reminder that the McDonalds Fast Food Restaurant Promotion for LEGO BATMAN: THE VIDEO GAME starts on September 12th, 2008. Hey, that's tomorrow! I guess it's time, once again, to wolf-down those McDonald's Happy Meals! There will be 8 toys total, 4 figures & 4 vehicles. The premiums look awesome & I finally got some "official photos" of the toys...just in time! ( Click on the above graphics for larger photos ).

Our friend Zdravko took some really great photos showing the 2 Batman Cereal Boxes in Bulgaria! Of course this was for the recent THE DARK KNIGHT movie promotion. The 1st picture is an advertisement out of some magazine, very cool! The next 3 photos show the actual cereal boxes with 1 pic showing the back. There were 4 premiums there that are all different than the American ones, especially the Scarecrow figure! Be sure to check out Zdravko's website for other foreign goodies.

For the last few days I have been pretty excited about the release of the brand-new HOT TOYS Joker / Police Officer Version Figure. It's a part of their new "Movie Masters Deluxe" series # 1 & it's totally amazing! In fact, it's completely INSANE! The attention to details is extremely accurate. The head sculpt looks EXACTLY like Heath Ledger from THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie. It's really killing me right now that I can't afford to buy one, ha ha! But, someday, IT WILL BE MINE! I recently received some newer photos ( Thanks Dave ). Two of them are official Hot Toy Company catalog photos and the last one is from a Hong Kong website where they show the actual product at a trade show. If you're looking for a good place to buy one of these then I recommend clicking on the button down below.

Our good friend "Batmobile Billy" sent us a photo from his iPhone recently of his trip to Toys-R-Us in Oklahoma City, OK. It looks like there are some new Mattel BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Action League Figures on the shelves & if you go to Toys-R-Us they have an exclusive "Arch Rivals Battle Pack" with 6 special figures ( Be sure to click on the photo up above for a larger version & it's the package in the middle ). Now, these are the smaller-type action figures that I guess are made for very little kids. But, we adult bat-toy collectors really love these too because they're so gosh darn cute! Thank you for sending the cool pic Billy & if any other readers learn about any new pieces of Batman Merchandise ( anything Bat-related! ) then please send us a message. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this website.
OK, Some Readers are gonna ask, "What's the PERS System?". Well, in the newer Deluxe Versions of THE DARK KNIGHT Movie Figures made by HOT TOYS the heads now have a special system where you can make the eyes move very realistically. In fact, PERS is an abbreviation of "Parallel Eyeball Rolling System". It sort of reminds me a little of the "Eagle Eyes" that Hasbro put on their 12" GI Joe Dolls toward the end of that line ( Yes, I call them dolls & NOT action figures, ha ha ). But this new PERS invention is way more advanced. So far they have added this new technology to their 2 brand-new DX01 Batman & Joker figures. It's really cool!

Here's a brand-new, just released, bat-product that is pretty awesome! This special collector set is based on one of the most popular and award-winning graphic novels of all time, Paul Dini and Bruce Timm's BATMAN: MAD LOVE!Included in this set are action figures of Harley Quinn and The Joker, both boasting new color schemes and sculpts as well as the 64-page reprint of the award-winning BATMAN: MAD LOVE comic, which defined the complicated and cracked relationship between cute 'n' crazy Harley Quinn and her Puddin', The Joker. The figures are approx. 7" high & Retail Price is around $ 39.99 but I've seen them a little cheaper so that's cool. Be sure to check out the prices at TFAW, that's where I buy a lot of stuff & they have great service.

OK, Here's some more fresh news from Mattel that was presented at this year's 2010 San Diego Comic Con & I'm sort of reporting on 2 different toy lines here, Hot Wheels & Imaginext Action Figures. The 1st photo shows a few new HOT WHEELS Batmobile cars to keep an eye out for ( But don't start camping out at Toys-R-Us tonight because these won't come out for a while - just stay tuned to the Bat-Blog because you know that when they come out we will be spazzing-out, ha!). It looks like they'll have some interesting new Batmobiles in 2 different series. One is the "Custom Motors" line & the other one is the "Color Shifters". The Custom Motors car is the Tumbler Batmobile from The Dark Knight movie & it looks like you'll be able to customize it like a model kit or something. I don't think I have ever seen this toy line before & it looks pretty interesting. Now the next one is the Color Shifters car & it looks like the Batmobile from the 1989 BATMAN movie, awesome! I've seen these before & they're kinda neat. They have special paint that changes color when you put them in hot water. This one has "flames" on the hood. Now the next major toy line covered here is the IMAGINEXT Action Figures, Vehicles, & Accessories. I know these are made for small children ( which is great ) but I gotta admit that I totally love these! The main 2 things to share here is the Batman figure with his Bat-Boat & Killer Kroc with his Swamp Boat. Plus, if you look at the picture with the Batboat, you'll also see the Riddler with his Riddler Car...awesome!

OK Kids, here's some really great photos to totally drool over, ha! While at the 2010 Comic Con the Mattel Toy Company gave a presentation of some upcoming toys they will release later this year & early 2011. This post is about their DC UNIVERSE CLASSICS Action Figures & we're mainly covering the Batman-related characters. As you can see they're gonna make some really great figures for this series. Just to be clear, what is shown here is "WAVE16". Wave 14 is shipping now & Wave 15 will come out in early fall. But back to Wave 16, look at what they have here! We got AZRAEL from the 1993 Knightfall storyline, the Villain BANE looking all buff & mean, The RIDDLER ( looking like he's from the Silver-Age, cool! ), & 2 different versions of Dick Grayson as ROBIN, The Boy Wonder! The Robin figures look the same to me except for the heads. One kind of looks like he's from the 1940's, while the other one reminds me of the 1970's Super Friends. Please tell me, which Robin do you like the best? Alright, now the very last photo is some of the mini-figures from the ACTION LEAGUE series. They're gonna have a ton of these of Superman, Green Lantern, etc...but here are 2 favorites, Batman & The Joker! I really like these, they're pretty cool!

It looks like Fisher Price just keeps expanding their DC Super Friends toy line even more! They now have a whole brand-new set of figures & vehicles called HERO WORLD. There's a Transforming Batmobile, Batman & Batcycle, and Joker with his Funny Car. The figures include: Superman ( comes with Krypto The Dog ), Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, and The Joker. Plus, they're a whole new size, their scale is somewhere between Imaginext and the Super Friends figures. be sure to click on the last photo for a larger version where you can see the new stuff really good. Also, a special thanks goes out to Batmobilly for sending the wonderful "retail store" photos & to Rich for sending the website information. Whoops, speaking of the website, Fisher Price has a "Hero World" page - CLICK HERE to check it out!!

Here's a prototype picture from the recent 2011 Funko Toys Catalog showing the 2nd Wave of DC Universe POP! Vinyl Figures. Now the main reasons I'm listing them here is because one of them is Batman-related, Two-Face! But the other Superheroes are cool as well: Hawkman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, & Shazam! Right now there is no exact release date but I'm guessing sometime around August. Stay tuned to the Bat-Blog & we will let you know ( We'll also have some sharp photos of the actual products as soon as possible ).

This is sort of sad news for Toy Collectors out there. Mattel has decided to cancel the RETRO ACTION DC SUPER HEROES Toy Line. These are the brand-new 8" figures that were made to sort of be like the old vintage MEGO DOLLS from the 1970's. They're totally great toys, very very cool! Well, some Toy Collectors have got together & created a "SAVE THE RETRO LINE" Petition to try & get Mattel to continue making the figures. Basically, what they're saying to Mattel is, "If retail stores don't seem like a profitable solution, then consider making these Retro figures as exclusives on mattycollector.com or consider an annual subscription service." It's sort of a desperate attempt but I think if they got enough people involved then maybe it has a chance. So, if you love the Old Mego Dolls or enjoy collecting these new ones then please CLICK HERE & sign the petition. Every signature helps! Also, please be sure to tell all your friends about it too.

Check out these really great photos we got recently from a Bat-Blog Fan who lives in Dallas, Texas. His name is Frank and this guy loves Batman. The cool thing is that he is really into collecting Vintage Toys, Newer Collectibles, Statues, Action Figures, Diecast Cars, Books, etc... and here is the photographic proof! I really like how everything is displayed here and I asked him about those shelves. I think he said something about Ikea. I like that company, they make cool stuff. These Bookcases are great. I wanna thank Frank for sharing these wonderful photos. It's always very cool to see other people's collections.

HOT TOYS just announced the release of a new series of BATMAN COSBABY Figures that each revolve around the theme from one of The Dark Knight Trilogy movies. There are 9 toys to collect with 3 toys from each Christopher Nolan film: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises. The characters include Bruce Wayne, Batman ( 3 versions ), Scarecrow, The Joker ( both "Regular" and "Bank Robber" ), Bane and Catwoman. Each Cosbaby stands approximately 3 inches tall, featuring your favorite movie characters in baby form and their unique designs in a special format. I'm not exactly sure on a release date at this moment but stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG and as soon as we know, you know.

Here's some pics of some really fun brand-new BATMAN Toys to keep an eye out for. Shown here are 2 different Bendee Toys (bendable figures) of Batman and the Joker and then we get to see a Batman Key Chain too. They also have a Bendee based on Superman, not pictured here.

Wait! Are these called Bendees or Bendys? Ha Ha! Either way, they're pretty cool. The Batman figure looks a lot like it's based on the comic book artwork of Darwyn Cooke ( Remember DC Comics' The New Frontier? ).

Over at the MTV GEEK website they just shared some really fun exclusive photos from the booth of Mezco Toys at the 2013 TOY FAIR. Here, we get to see some of the new MEZ-ITZ Batman Figures. The 1st pic shows the new Bat-Pod from the recent DARK KNIGHT Movies. I like this toy, it's pretty cool and kinda cute too! Next up is a version of the Classic Batmobile that comes with a figure...hmm, kind of interesting.

The last two pics show some item that have been out awhile but I thought I'd share them n case somebody has not seen them yet. The one cool thing is the super-huge giant-sized figures. I really like those. Plus, the large Superman and Wonder Woman ones are new. Oh yeah, those smaller Superman Figures include in that same photo are ones for the brand-new SUPERMAN Movie.

I'm not sure of an exact release date on these 2 new Batman Toys yet but these babies should be coming out real soon! OK, You know how they're making Mr. Potato Head Figures now in the form of licensed characters? They recently made one of Batman from THE DARK KNIGHT Movie. They also did Superman and Wonder Woman. Well, here are 2 brand-new ones coming out later featuring BATMAN and The JOKER!! Yeah, these are modeled more like the "DC Comics Comic Book" versions. Crazy!!!

While looking at some recent photos I have collected to report on new Batman Merchandise I noticed that all of these are kind of small in size & would make perfect "Christmas Stocking Stuffer" ideas. Well, the 1st item is a total no-brainer as it is already "Holiday-related". This is a large-sized BATMAN Candy Cane with great packaging, the graphics are awesome. I found it at Toys-R-Us for about $2.00.
Next, is a fun new item I spotted at a Family Dollar Store. It's an extremely nice set of PVC Figures of Batman, Robin, and The Joker. They measure about 2" tall & you get 3 per package for $5.00, not bad. The quality is really nice. They also have 3 different sets. There's one that has 3 figures that are all Batman, in different poses, and another one that has Batman, Flash, & Green Lantern. My photo shows them as they appear on the back of the box.

Last, is this fun BATMAN and TWO-FACE Bath Foam Set. I came across these at a Dollar General Store for only $4.00. Now, I'll admit they are kinda dumb but I totally love the graphics on these. Plus, later these sort of items will not really appear at Garage Sales or anything because people who buy them will use them up & throw them away. So, if you want one for display, grab it now.
Have YOU come across any brand-new pieces of unusual Batman Toys or Memorabilia? If so then please let us know, our e-mail button is always located at the top right-hand side of this page, thanks!
