Preview: NEW The DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie Toys & Memorabilia!

I've been collecting some RARE photos of some of the new DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie merchandise, just for you, that I have been seeing & thought I would post some today. There's a lot to look at so let's get right to it! The 1st photo is gonna be the new calender to get for 2009, THE DARK KNIGHT Movie 16 Month Wall Calender. I wish I knew what the inside photos were but the cover has amazing graphics so it should be pretty sweet. The next item was photographed at the recent New York Comic Con ( NYCC 2008 ) , it's the official SCARECROW Dark Knight Action Figure from Mattel. I love the facial expression of this character, sort of scary &"cartoony". The next 2 photos are from the Rubie's Costume Catalog. It looks like they're gonna go totally crazy making all kinds of Halloween Costumes, Masks, Party Accessories, & even Joker Make-Up! The next picture is one we have put here before but this time we get a nice close-up of the actual cars. This is gonna be the DARK KNIGHT BATMAN SLOT CAR Race Set by TYCO...looks cool! I really like the Tumbler Batmobile! After this is a photo of a Dark Knight Birthday Present Bag ( or it might be a Shopping Bag from the WB Stores, not sure. This photo was sent to me by a Bat-Blog reader with no explanation ). The last photo is sort of a prototype shot of what the THE DARK KNIGHT Playstation 3 Video Game Case is gonna look like. I have not confirmed that this is the actual item but you know they're gonna HAVE to make this movie a video game! Well, that's it for now. New HOT TOYS: 1/6th Scale TUMBLER BATMOBILE For 12" Batman Figure (The Dark Knight Movie Version)

OK, I bet you thought the HOT TOYS ( 1/6 Scale ) Batman/Christian Bale 12" Action Figure was pretty awesome but get this, they also made a large-scale TUMBLER BATMOBILE to go with it!! This toy company keeps surprising me with the super high-quality stuff they make! Their "Dark Knight Tumbler Batmobile", shown here, is simply amazing. I love the the extreme details like the rubber tire tread, the way the door opens, even the dashboard....sweet! ( Please be sure to click on the above pictures for larger, more detailed, photos ). This will be a "must have" for many Batman Toy Collectors. Crap, I need a second job to afford all this stuff, ha ha!

THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie BURGER KING FAST FOOD TOYS Appearing in Germany!!

Here in the USA we don't have any THE DARK KNIGHT Movie Fast Food Toys but they will have some in Germany! BURGER KING Restaurants in Germany will have 6 different Batman "The Dark Knight" Kids Meal Toys to collect! There is the "Batarang Launcher, Batman Frisbee, Light-Up Bat-Signal, Batman Action Figure, Tumbler Batmobile Car, & Batman Scanner"!! Sorry if I mis-spelled some of the names because I don't speak or read German! Personally I am really excited about this, at least for the fans in Germany, it's awesome! Thank you Norbert for sending me the news, I appreciate that!

New THE DARK KNIGHT Collectible Stickers & Mini-Figures By PLAYGROUND MANIACS

A new trading card company called PLAYGROUND MANIACS has come out with a really neat concept. They sell these packs of THE DARK KNIGHT Collectible Stickers & you get a free Mini-Figure in each pack! Each package contains 8 stickers & 1 figure. There are 180 stickers total to collect & 6 mini-figures. They also make a "Collectible Sticker Album" for you to put the stickers in. The figures include: 1 Joker, 1 Tumbler Batmobile, 1 Bat-Pod Motorcycle, & 3 Different Variations of Batman. The only place I have seen these so far are Target Stores. I bought one pack & got a "Batman Standing" figure...pretty neat! I plan on getting all 6 figures. The Batman I got is almost 3" tall. LEGO BATMAN Playset # 7888 Tumbler Batmobile & Joker Van

These pictures are just a quick overview of a brand-new Lego Batman Play Set called "The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise" #7888. It features the new Tumbler Batmobile & a very cool looking Joker Van. It also comes with 3 figures: Batman, The Joker, & one of Joker's Goons. Looks like it also has approx. 11 various weapons for the characters to use.The attention to detail is awesome! I really love these toys & later this year they plan to release the new LEGO BATMAN video game. I might have to get this as a gift for one of my nephews at Christmas, it's crazy!

BATMAN Gets a Traffic Violation in The UK!

Ha Ha, This is sort of funny news because it's true! Recently, while Warner Bros was busy promoting the new DARK KNIGHT Batman movie in the UK, they got a ticket on the Tumbler Batmobile for illegal parking! Apparently they parked the car in a "No Parking" area while displaying the car in public. The British Police Officer had no choice but to give them the ticket. Yes! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie is really getting underway! Here's a video showing the "Camouflage Version" of the Tumbler cruising the streets of Pittsburgh! Actually, there are 3 of them. I guess they either have back-up ones or they each perform a different function...cool!

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - A Few BATMOBILE TUMBLER TOY CARS From Walmart!

Yesterday we posted some pics from our Friend Batmobilly that he shot at Walmart. Well, here are a few Batmobile Tumbler Toys he bought. Two of them are R/C Remote Control. Of course these tie-in to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. We're expecting that there will soon be a very HUGE FLOOD of TDKR merchandise, ha ha! Just wait, it's gonna be crazy! But check out these pics.
The 1st one shows 2 of the standard R/C Vehicles: The TUMBLER Batmobile ( Camouflage Version ) and THE BAT! Oh yeah, THE BAT is the thing we see flying around in the new movie trailer: Catwoman, "My Mother always told me to never get into a car with a stranger". Batman, "This isn't a car!".

Next, is a photo of a Batman Toy that is EXCLUSIVE to Walmart. It's not an R/C Car but still cool, looks like a great gift idea for some kid. I like the window box packaging. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Batman Themed Home Movie Theater Man Cave

Check out the photos up above & please be sure to click on them for larger HD versions. This is a special room in my new house. I recently remodeled my basement into a Bat-Cave & I gotta say it looks pretty awesome!! OK, this is NOT my house but a man can dream, right?
Basically, it's a Super Batman-Themed Home Movie Theater, or... the Ultimate Man Cave! One nice feature is a Set of Fake Bookcases that slide open by remote to reveal another room next to this one that has a Tumbler Batmobile (Replica) Garage!
There are also some some amazing Life-Size Batman Statues, a Bat-Computer Set-Up, Gothic-Style Lighting, Custom Railing with Film Bat-Symbol Logos, and then just look at the screen itself... AMAZING!! Oh man, how much did this cost? LOL!! Now, I'm not really sure what company did all this but they did an incredible job. One thing I can say though is that the special Leather Chairs were supplied by ELITE Home Theater Seating. OK, I'm just going to go cry now.

Here's a fun Video Review I came across for the Hot Wheels Wall Tracks "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" Track Set. It's a very elbaroate play set that you mount on the wall & the graphics are excellent. It comes with a Diecast Black Tumbler Batmobile Car. I remember when we posted some news about this new Batman Toy here at the Bat-Blog.Com but I have not seen one out of the box yet. Wow, it looks really really cool! Check it out!
