Charlize Theron is a very busy girl right now. In addition to her acting gigs, which include the currently shooting Mad Max: Fury Road, she's involved in the production of several projects. Hatfields and McCoys and Holiday are the first two of these this season and now she's added a third – The Clan.
Though the details are scant, The Clan will apparently pit some medieval Scottish clans in the Highlands against each other and a variety of Viking invaders. It will be airing on ABC and Oscar nominee Terry George (Hotel Rwanda) is set to write, direct and act as executive producer.
Theron is one woman who is kicking ass and taking names with her career and the combo of her and George working on something about Vikings might just be something that medieval fanboys can look forward to without worries. Now let's see just how much ABC gimps it to make it "palatable" for the general population.
