Video: The Testimony of Robert "Bob" Kane, Batman Co-Creator

One of my friends has a really great website called DIALBFORBLOG.COM & recently he posted this very interesting video on YouTube. It's an interview with Bob Kane that was shown on Canadian TV around the time of the 1989 Batman movie. In it he takes TOTAL credit for creating Batman, funny stuff.

Cosplay Photo: THE JOKER and HARLEY QUINN!

A friend to the Bat-Blog, named Neville, sent us this really wonderful photo from the Polaris Comic Book Convention in Toronto, Canada. The picture was taken last July & shows us how some Batman Fans get totally creative! Here we see the Joker with his girlfriend, Harley Quinn, & their dog, Lou. I think it's cool that they brought their dog, how funny! Anyway, the whole family looks really great & I seriously love the costumes. Thank you Neville for sending this to us, I appreciate that. YAMAHA CUSTOM 1966 BATMAN TV Show BAT-CYCLE For Sale in Canada

Check out these great photos from a Classified Ad in Canada! It appears that somebody there is selling their Custom 1966 Yamaha BATMAN TV SHOW BAT-CYCLE Motorcycle. The asking price is only around 15-Thousand, which seems pretty fair to me considering how much a brand-new motorcycle costs. Plus, this one is both "Vintage" and "Totally Bad Ass", ha ha! 1989 BATMAN Movie Batmobile Spotted in Canada!!

Check out these awesome photos sent in to us by a loyal Bat-Blog Fan who lives in Ontario, Canada. If I got the info correct, he spotted this beautiful 1989 Batman Movie Batmobile Replica Car in Orangeville. Either way it's pretty amazing and I know he completely freaked-out when he saw it! New BATMAN MY BUSY BOOK and 12 FIGURES by Phidal

I have been meaning to post this new BATMAN Product Review for awhile but finally got around to it today, sorry! About 2 weeks ago I was at my local Wal-Mart. If you shop there you know that they now have a mini-bookstore area where they display bestsellers & popular books. They also have a "Children's Book" section. There, I found this very cool BATMAN Book that I knew I could not pass-up. It's called "My Busy Books" & is published by Phidal Publishing, which is located in both Canada & the UK. So, for that reason, it was kind of weird to find it at my local store.

Anyways, this book is extremely cool! It's more than just a book, it's also sort of like a mini-playset. This book is pretty BIG & I'm talking it's almost 1 1/2" thick! But it's not big because it has a lot of pages to read ( there are only like 6 or 7 to read ) but it has an area in the back which is kind of like a "storage area". This "box" contains a Playmat with 4 different Gotham City Street Scenes and 12 PVC Plastic Figurines.

For me it's these figures which totally sold the thing to me. They're really cool & very detailed. The list of characters include: Batman, Robin, Nightwing, The Joker, Catwoman, The Penguin, Ra's al Ghul, Riddler, Manbat, Killer Croc, Scarecrow, and Two-Face. They measure approx. 1 1/2" tall & are very detailed. Another cool bonus about the book is that the artwork is really great!
