Right now, over in Brazil, they have a promotion for THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie with the DANIX Cookie Company. ( In Brazil they call the movie "O Cavaleiro Das Trevas" ). There are 2 different packages of cookies with beautiful graphics on them! They also have a special "Sticker Collector's Album" you can get & inside each package are a few stickers. There are 28 Batman Stickers to collect. My picture up above shows a small example of them. They feature a lot of the stock art showing the Tumbler Batmobile, The Joker, & other graphics from the movie. I know it's totally crazy but I would really love to have a few packages of these, ha ha! Collecting the weird "Batman food packaging" is a side-hobby of mine. "Striking gingerbread fear into the hearts of holiday evil-doers!!!" The other day I got an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Reader named Chris who wrote, "I hate Christmas stuff, my wife loves Christmas stuff. Knowing I'm a huge Batman fan she tried to keep me interested this year by suggesting that our family gingerbread decorations be Batman themed. It worked!" Wow, it did work! Chris sent me a link to his newly created website where he & his wife share their gingerbread cookie creations that are all Batman-themed. There are a ton of different characters & it was actually kinda hard to pick a few examples ( like the ones shown here ) but they are ALL really amazing! I like that they did a lot of obscure characters & not just the main-stream ones. But, they did those too, ha ha! During the Batman Movie craze of 1989 a company in Peru called F nix made some BATMAN COOKIES. Over there they call them "Galletas". Here's a RARE old Vintage TV Commercial Spot for the product. Man, I would love to have a package pf those!!
