Despite having a gentle personality, Takasu Ryuji is often mistaken for being a juvenile delinquent because of his intimidating eyes, making him almost completely hopeless in getting a girlfriend. During his second year of high school, he accidentally knocks into Aisaka Taiga who is said to be "the school's most dangerous animal of the highest risk level".
