How does Halo 4 start?

New York News Daily got to play a little of the opening to Halo 4 and found out.

If you've seen the Halo 4 announcement trailer you'll probably figure you know how Halo 4 starts - with the Cheif waking up on the ship he escaped on at the end of Halo 3, the Forward Unto Dawn. You'll also probably think that the ship appears to be blowing up.

Well that's perhaps not quite the case.

Upon the he Chief's wakening he says "Why did you wake me?"

The answer is that something else is on the ship. As you walk around exploring you will eventually clamber up a gravity-less elevator shaft and instantly run into a mad as hell Covenant Elite. The Elite lurches at the Chief, all nasty and in his face, and the Chief must fight him off.
"Wasn't there a Covenant-human truce, Master Chief asks?"

While the Chief will eventually wind up on the planet the planet Requiem much of the game will play out on the Forever Unto Dawn according to Frankie O'Connor from 343.
