To celebrate the arrival of the METAL MEN as brand-new Guest Characters on the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TV Cartoon Series I decided to make a few Metal Men Desktop Wallpapers! Remember, the new episode airs this Friday at 7:30 pm on the Cartoon Network!!

When I was a very young Comic Book Nerd in the 1970's I started to look for older vintage issues, stuff from the 1960's & earlier. Of course BATMAN was my most favorite title! One such issue I found was Batman # 188. It had an amazing cover graphic by Carmine Infantino. The story inside was great too! Basically there was this Mob Guy who's job it was to clean-up a crime scene, after a crime was committed, so that there would be no evidence for the Police ( or Batman & Robin ) to find. He became known as THE ERASER! THE RUBBER-HEADED VILLAIN! His costume was totally cheesy, but in a good way. He looked like a Giant No.2 Pencil, ha ha, & his head looked like the eraser-end of the pencil...very cool! He was sort of a one-shot character. He appeared & then went to jail in the same issue. I don't know why but I totally loved this villain! So, you can imagine my surprise when I received some promotional material from Warner Bros for tonight's new episode of Batman: The Brave & The Bold cartoon & saw that this villain will be making an appearance! WOW! That's one thing I really love about this TV show, they bring in the most obscure characters you can imagine. So, you KNOW that I will be watching this animated series tonight, ha ha!
In this AUTHORIZED CLIP FROM WARNER BROS we get to see The RIDDLER & BOOSTER GOLD in action! This brand-new episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD is titled, "A Bat Divided!" and airs on Friday, February 5th, at 7:30 pm, on the Cartoon Network! This is the "teaser part" of the cartoon that they show in the beginning. I love the Vintage Silver-Age look of The Riddler! Be sure to scroll down to another post where we feature some more video preview clips from this episode. Plus, we have a YOUTUBE BUTTON ( Yellow Bat ) on the right-hand side of this page. From DC Comics, here are the Original Comic Book Art Drawings for the covers to BATMAN: THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE, Issues # 5 & 6. They're both drawn by Andy Kubert & are totally cool! The 1st one shows the Dark Knight as sort of a Detective in a Film Noir setting. Yes, Film Noir! In the 2nd Comic Book Cover he looks like he is closer to being more Modern Day Matman. Please be sure to click on them for larger (sharp) versions!

I know that we recently hyped the fact that this week's BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD will be the brand-new episode where Kevin Conroy ( Original Batman: The Animated Series ) was going to make a guest voice appearance. Well, Both Warner Bros & The Cartoon Network have gone through some major TV broadcast schedule shuffling & the new episode will not appear until the end of March. But, you'll still be able to enjoy reruns for a little bit. If you still wanna see clips from this show please be sure to click on our YOUTUBE Button on the top right-hand side of the page. Plus, if you're a member then please SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube Page & you'll never miss the new videos.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYBODY!! A loyal Bat-Blog Reader sent us these great photos showing some very cool Vintage 1966 Batman Valentine Cards made from around the time of the old '66 TV Show. The artwork is totally beautiful but the neat thing, from a collector's point-of-view, is the picture of the actual Valentine Box Packaging the cards originally came in...sweeeeeet! ( My favorite graphic is the one with the Batmobile Car racing towards you, VROOOOM! )Thanks Mark. Oh yeah, Mark runs a very interesting website that's all about his line of comic strips called Andertoons. You can check it out by clicking HERE!
